HYLC Joint Venture
The design and construction of the new Royal Adelaide Hospital is managed by joint venture partners Hansen Yuncken and Leighton Contractors. The Joint Venture has been created specifically for the project. Together, the partnership brings together the capacity, as well as the local and national experience required to expertly manage this iconic South Australian health project.

Hansen Yuncken is one of Australia's largest privately owned commercial construction contractors, employing nearly 670 people throughout Australia, with considerable levels of Adelaide based resources. In 2010, Hansen Yuncken was awarded the National MBA Commercial Builder of the Year.
As a preferred major contractor within the South Australian market Hansen Yuncken brings significant levels of recent health sector project experience in metropolitan Adelaide, most notably the redevelopment of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Glenside Health Facilities and Lyell McEwin Hospital.
